Importance of IT Certification

I learned from a good friend who is a human resource head that hiring is one of the most difficult and challenging part of their job hence, they scan the resumes, set a benchmarks to decide if a candidate is qualified for a position. Years of experience counts in an specialized industry. Hours of training, skills and educational attainment also plays a vital role in the hiring process. Certification of an applicant is one of the key factor that counts the most thus, it proves that a candidate is committed in the process of learning and the field of industry they have chooses.

I shared this thought to a newly graduated friend who took Information Technology, I have told him that he must have a Cisco certification because it will not only provides him tools and trainings he needed but it also deliver a world class customer service that establishes an essential set of credentials favorable to him in his field of specialization. I added that being certified is indeed an advantage hence IT industry looks for practitioners that delivers consistency and could deliver high quality customer care. Getting a certification is the surest way to stay abreast in the constant changes in the Industry and Technology world. Even professionals and corporate individuals invested money, time and effort to have such certification hence they know that they know it is worth investing for. After that sharing of ideas, my friend gave me a big hug and told me "Thank you, sister dear, it was so sweet.
