Planning for Good!

I and my family faces our hard times nowadays. I can't enumerate all the reasons here but I am still thankful that we are all alive and living together with the help and guidance of our Lord. Last night, we talk about having our own home I mean building our own house but my brother suggested to prioritize first and have the fence installation before constructing our small house so that everything will be in place and safe.

Stay connected

No I've realized how important speed in my life is, just like in my internet connection. From broadband to prepaid, whew its hurting. For now, I must be contented on what I have for me to continue on blogging. Oh, my I wish I can still access the page where I need to pay my insurance online so no need for me to go the office to pay it personally.

Going into Prepaid Internet!

Before I am used to have a broadband internet connection. I can go online anytime I want with unlimited access but now my life has a sudden shift. All opportunities and privileges was gone cause of one big mistake. Anyways, I learned from that mistake and I am now trying back to regain what I've lost. I will blog all of that soon. Now that I have shift to prepaid internet connection, I hope I can still blog the way I want hence connection is far beyond the speed of what I am using before.

Glowing skin!

I was surprised with the latest poll conducted recently for celebrities in the Philippines that men overpassed woman by 10% for being vain and conscious in regards with their skin. According to the survey men take at least one treatment per month. The best seller treatment for men includes microdermabrasion, diamond peeling, facial scrub and ordinary facial treatment. Hmmm... from now on I will not be surprised if I can see more men than women in a salon or spa.

Be ready!

Time is running so fast, March is coming its way very very soon and its graduation time once again.  Many hopefuls were very excited hence they will be out of school after  4 to 5 years of staying in the campus religiously. At last, they will be exposed on the real world after graduation and be ready for the new challenges.  Finding the  right job  would be in the top list of priority cause a lot of graduates got a mismatched jobs. I suggest that as early as now they should ready themselves and prepare their CV'S as comprehensive as Manhattan resumes. Good luck!

I love them All!

My nephew Andrei grew with us. He was with us from day one of his life until now. He is like my son. I never played favorites among my nieces and nephew cause I treated them equally specially with the material things I am giving to them every time. But, I can say that I knew Andrei more , in terms of attitude, what he likes and how to pacify him compared with his two Ate (Alxia, 10 and Aleighx, 5).

Andrei is now 4 years old and he is very smart. We don't still send him to formal school but instead we personally guide him to learn things. This year he will be send to school but still undecided what school to choose. In preparation for their pre-school, I bought a lot of Educational DVD's for them and as I observed they can easily learned from it. They have books like nursery rhyms, coloring books and other educational materials. I personally teach them how to use the computer and guide them in using the internet. I am very proud of them. Looking forward for them as they go older.

Music Lover!

My nieces and nephew were musically incline children. They love singing with matching dance performance. My eldest niece started to perform at the stage as early as 4 years old.  Her voice is not that good quality but her confidence in singing is indeed very high.  She used to asked his dad and mom to buy her an mp3 everytime we passed by at the  MP3 players stores, hence I have an extra player I let her used it provided she will take good care of it!

I love dogs but....

A friend gave me a call this afternoon, asking me if I want a dog cause he will give me one. I told him I love dogs but I can't have one hence pets were not allowed inside the compound were living in. I told him that I do appreciate his thoughtfulness and I am very thankful for his kindsness but I need to declined the offer cause I can't really accept his gift. Just so lucky cause he never felt bad about it hence he replied " sige iba na lang give ko syo"! Hmmm..... ano kaya yon?

Sweet Life!

If your fond of watching television, you might be familiar with the show of Lucy Torres-Gomez  which is " THE SWEET LIFE". This magazine type of tv show garnered an award from New York Festival for best magazine show category. I have a chance to watched it today and I do appreciate the tips of Wilma about proper wearing of make up when you are wearing an eyeglasses which I do everytime when I report for office. 

Assignment Done!

Two weeks ago, our City Administrator requested me to lay-out a personalized card for him. After a week of conceptualizing it, the card or cards should I say were already finished. I asked our liaison to give it to him for critic and as agreed there were no messages on it hence we already talked that he will be the one to compose a personal message.

I am so glad when our liaison told me that he loves my lay-out. In fact, he is proud to show it to his visitors and accordingly, all of them agreed it was nice. ( Lipay ko eh) Hmmm... I thought my assignment was already done but our liaison relayed to me that boss has another request, and this time is to finalized the cards and take charge with the quotes. Grrrrrrrr..... he is always like that, he loves to grill me all the time. I am not pressured with the lay-out hence I know his taste but with the messages his kinda picky and it pressures me a lot.

Only in my dreams!

My father always remind me to learn how to drive a 4 wheeled vehicle so that whenever I want to used our jeepey I will not depend on him and my brothers to drive for me. I just knew how to drove a bicycle and a motorcycle but when I almost have a motorcycle accident my parents don't allowed me to drive again. I used to cracked a joke to my dad everytime we talked about driving, I told him that I will surely learned how to drive if we will have a Ferrari car already, hahahahaha... My dad will just told me, my dear it will take us a decade even to have a Ferrari parts on our hands, I knew what he meant about it. Hmmmm... I replied " even only in my dreams dad" I will!

Allergy!

I've noticed that mom's skin is very sensitive lately. She always have an allergy specially with the food she is taking in. I feel very sorry for her cause I knew myself how itchy and uncomfortable to have it. I am just so thankful that her medicine is very effective though quiet expensive compared with the other brands. I wish you good health mom, take good care always!

Wish Coming up!

I already wrote about my plans of buying another stand for our television which I bought last year out of my blogging activities. My plan will be materialized next month hence I already chosen one style among more than a dozen of tv stands designs available in the market. I am very excited about it, I already ordered it and the sales attendant told me it will be delivered first week of March. Hmmm..... it would not be soon enough, wink!

Still Blessed!

Blogging is one of my distressing activity after office but I am guilty that I don't update my blogs that often cause of time constraint. I just force to write anything and admittedly most of the time have no sense articles just to cope up. I am not a good writer though but I am really wishing that I can improve my skills just like my mentors whom I really look up to. Despite of this, I am still thankful that PAYU is still very generous to me. In fact they gave me 4 stars this week plus 1 bonus assignment. As usual, I need to finished it all today hence I might not do it on working days because of my hectic schedule.

Maintenance Check-up!

This coming week our maintenance team headed by our two electrician will be having an inventory of all the lighting equipments inside KCITS premises, as one of the requirement before our 1st quarter procurement for electrical supplies will be approve by the office of the City General Services Office. As early as January, Rofel and Danny have reported that our two emergency light needs a battery replacement.Funny fact, I thought it was just an ordinary battery but I've found out that it is made up of a wet cell battery and if it dries up it will no longer in used.

Lack of Thiamine!

I went to my doctor last Friday to have my medical check up. I've been blogging about my health condition since last year and Its a sad fact that my health is not that good. It's been months that my hands is numbing and there is a tingling effect. Just this month, I've noticed that my feet were swelling and my body is getting huge just like a balloon blown out with air. My mom, was so worried about my condition cause its not normal. When I talked to my doctor, she diagnosed me to have lack of Vitamin B specifically Thiamine. Hmmm... its a fun fact that its been 5 months since the last time I've ate meat, legumes and other food which are rich in Thiamine. I just ate almost raw vegetables, fish and no food supplements whatsoever. I thought my diet was good but late to find out it was bad, most of the food Ive ate has anti-thiamine which resulted a disease called beri-beri. My doctor told me that it was not that serious anyways cause it can be treated in due time with right habit of eating healthy food and a balance diet. For now, am into medications.... I go back taking B complex supplements, eating food with rich in Vit. B1, high fiber, high protein and stay away from eating carbohydrates too much specially white rice!

Summer Vacation is coming up!

My best friend Iris informed me two weeks ago that they are planning to have a summer gate away this coming April. She invited me to joined her group. They wanted to have a Bohol escapades and some side trip to Cebu City. I don't confirmed yet whether I'll go or not cause my other bessie Ethel Vera open up about having a Gallera Trip with his husband Raul. The couple learned that there are cruises available from Puerto Gallera to Bohol and end up to Boracay. It sounds more exciting but as I've said I can't decide as of now.

We participated!

Kidapawan City is more than a decade old this month. Last week, we celebrated it with a big bang. For the first time, KCITS family joined the parade and it was full of fun. More than 85% of our employees participated in the culmination program hence others have to stay in their respective post for duty. It was fun, I will post some pictures later.

So clumsy me!

I almost got home with tears today. I was so clumsy, I lost the watched that my aunt gave me last January 2008 when they got home from Canada. I told my mom about it, of course as a normal reaction she nagged at me, but what can I do, who wants to lost a valuable item and most of all with sentimental value from a very close person in your heart, sigh! Hmmm.... I am thinking to buy another one for myself from replica watches, I wish I can find same elegant design as what I've lost!

Project from Blogging!

Last December,my eldest brother open me up about his plans of renovating his humble home! I knew it is not that easy for them cause of financial constraint. I told him that I am happy with his plans but I advise him not to rush things. Anyways, he can do it step by step. I don't promise him anything but I will help him the way I can. I talked to my mom about my plan, I don't want to give the cash to my bro directly for some reasons, (hehehehehe) so mom decided to handle it for me and budget the amount I've allotted for the house. My income for December blogging was intended for my brother's humble home, though the amount is not that huge but it could be of help hence it could produce 200 pieces of hollow blocks, 10 bags of cement, 10 round bars, 5 pieces plain sheets and the labor. Wish he will be happy about this!

Barcode Scanner!

Thanks GOD its Friday once again. I feel very exhausted so I decided to go the KMCC to bought something for myself and my family as well. Usually, I go to the groceries with my mom but this time I do it alone. I just called up mom, what things she wanted me to buy and of course talk with my nephew and nieces for their special orders. I enjoyed doing it alone hehehehehe... its kinda relief on my side hence I don't have any outlet of my stress in the office. When I'm in the counter to pay my bills, the barcode scanner sparks, when the cashier checked it, they found out that there was a short circuit. I am just so thankful that it was just a small incident and we are all safe.

Danny Gokey Made it to the TOP 12 of American Idol Season 8

I've been watching American Idol every season. During the audition, this person leave a marked on my head. His story, his journey and mostly his voice.When he was included in the top 36, I was so excited hearing him sing again cause I do like his voice a lot. Last Wednesday, Dannny Gokey proved once again that he can be a contender on the top 12 and maybe the next American Idol ( too early to tell but am hoping hehehehe). Watched this video and judge it by yourself, how good he is!

Gift for myself!

Its been a year since I am earning from my blogging activiites, though its not that much but it can be of help. Last year, I have few projects out of my income in blogging and this year with God's grace its adding up. In fact, early this year I had another souvenir, thanks to all advertisers who still believes in me. I wish its a   Black Friday so that sale is every where again and I can have another gift for myself.

AMERICAN IDOL IS BACK!

Yes,yes, yes, yes... The most popular talent search is back. As expected more than a hundred thousand of hopeful singers jumped pack to different states of America to audition for the said prestigious search. I've watched it  every Wednesday and Thursday on Q11 and I already have favorites. The search is just starting and am looking forward who will be qualified for the top 12 this coming weeks.

Farmers Dilema!

Since last month of January, farmers here in the Province of Cotabato had encountered different problems on livestock and poultry because of the unpredictable weather condition. Many animals got sick and just recently cholera outbreak stroke in 3 municipalities of the province namely Alamada, Aleosan and Midsayap. The governor had instructed the provincial veterinarian so as the provincial agriculture office to conduct immediate solution on the problems which affects many local farmers provincewide. According to the governor his office allotted a budget for the cattle supplies , medicines and other supplies to augment the needs of the farmers.

Migraine Attack for 2009

Migraine attack is no longer new to me, In fact I made a lot of post about it last year! I thought my sufferings has ended as year 2008 has lapsed but that was just a dream hence I had my first attacked this 2009. In fact, I have to take a half day leave in the office cause I can't bear the pain. I need to re-energized myself again since I am working non-stop since month of October last year. As usual, I need to go back to my old days of accupuncture session and take medicine once in a while just to ease the pain I am going through with.

KCITS goes on Digital this Year!

Part of improving the operation of Kidapawan City Integrated Transport Station. The management have decided to innovate its signage design to cope up with the digital world of advertisement. Personally, I am very happy with this development cause if ever it will be realized early this year, this would be another milestone of our office hence we will be the first ever LGU run establishment to have a digital signage in the city.

Moymoy Palaboy & Rodfill Real Voice!

I am a big fan of this fantastic duo. The first time I've watched them in YouTube, I can't believe that they are just having a lip sync and if you're not that familiar with them you will thought they are the real singers. They are very hilarious and they never failed to make me laugh in every video clips they have. In fact, I have downloaded their top most viewed videos. My whole family loves watching them specially my nieces and nephew. My eldest brother who is also a big fan of them browse this video and shared it with me! I am very excited when I downloaded it cause it contains the real voice of this fantastic brothers with Aljur Abrenica.I am very surprise with the voice of Rodfill, he can really sing hehehehehe... About Moymoy, its not the first time I heard his voice since I knew it from the start that he is a professional singer and have a band of his own. Watch this video and I am sure you'll love it!

Wish Granted!

As promise, Dada Raul had granted the wish of my best friend Ethel to make-over their kitchen early this year. Its been 8 months that they have been married and they are really investing on their home sweet home. I received a call this morning from Ethel and she is very excited bout what she saw in their kitchen when she went home from work last night. She is indeed very happy with the kohler sink that his husband had installed recently and told me it makes her more inspired to cook better for his loving husband Raul. How sweet!

Baked Beans - This is hilarious!

One day I met a sweet gentleman and fell in love. When it became apparent that we would marry, I made the supreme sacrifice and gave up beans.

Some months later, on my birthday, my car broke down on the way home from work. Since I lived in the countryside I called my husband and told him that I would be late because I had to walk home. On my way, I passed by a small diner and the odour of baked beans was more than I could stand. With miles to walk, I figured that I would walk off
any ill effects by the time I reached home, so I stopped at the diner and before I knew it, I had consumed three large orders of baked beans.




All the way home, I made sure that I released all the gas.

Upon my arrival, my husband seemed excited to see! me and exclaimed delightedly: 'Darling I have a surprise for dinner tonight.'

He then blindfolded me and led me to my chair at the dinner table. I took a seat and just as he was about to remove my blindfold, the telephone rang. He made me promise not to touch the blindfold until he returned and went to answer the call.

The baked beans I had consumed were still affecting me and the pressure was becoming most unbearable, so while my husband was out of the room I seized the opportunity, shifted my weight to one leg and let one go. It was not only loud, but it smelled like a fertilizer truck running over a skunk in front of a pulpwood mill. I took my napkin from my lap and fanned the air around me vigorously.

Then, shifting to the other cheek, I ripped off three more. The stink was worse than cooked cabbage.

Keeping my ears carefully tuned to the conversation in the other room, I went on like this for another few minutes.

The pleasure was indescribable. When eventually the telephone farewells signalled the end of my freedom, I quickly fanned the air a few more times with my napkin, placed it on my lap and folded my hands back on it feeling very relieved and pleased with myself.

My face must have been the picture of innocence when my husband returned, apologizing for taking so long. He asked me if I had peeked through the blindfold, and I assured him I had not.

At this point, he removed the blindfold, and twelve dinner guests seated around the table chorused: 'Happy Birthday!'

I fainted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
